Having been at our center for 21 years we are now seeing the "returnees" you speak of. Thus far we have hired three of our "babies", expect to hire tow more this summer, and have had several of them do volunteer work here. We have never had a parent place their second, third, or even fourth child elsewhere - in fact two of our parents returned with second children 15 years after the first!
I do have to say though I am not exactly looking for the "second generation" babies - it's too much of a reminder of my own stage in life!
