Site of 2019 World Forum Announced
January 5, 2018
To program learning often means to hamper it by restricting children to the stereotyped anticipations of the programmer.
-Frances Hawkins, 1913-2006, teacher and author

The 2019 World Forum on Early Care and Education will take place April 8 – 11, 2019 in Macao, China. A UNESCO World Heritage site, Macao is known as the place where “east meets west.” The Portuguese arrived and settled in Macao in the mid-16th Century. Thus, the city’s architecture, art, religion, traditions, food and community reflect the integration of Chinese, Western and Portuguese cultures.

At the 2019 World Forum over 800 delegates from 75 countries will gather to discuss critical issues impacting the lives of children around the world; to dance, sing, dine and explore; and most importantly to develop lasting friendships.

You can earn a double bonus by registering for the 2019 World Forum before January 31, 2018! By registering now, not only will you receive the Early Bird Discount, you will also receive a complimentary ticket of your choice for a Macao Heritage Tour - a walking tour of the historic multicultural neighborhoods of Macao, or a Centers Tour where you will observe early childhood education delivered in the Chinese context.
