FEEDBACK ON NAMES, NAPS AND FEES

Large numbers of ExchangeEveryDay readers participated in recent Exchange Insta-Polls on Nomenclature, Naps, and Fees. Many of you provided insightful commentary to go along with your votes on these issues.  Here is what we plan to do about that:

Names:  Bettye Caldwell will review your votes and comments on nomenclature. We will post her response as well as a representative sampling of your comments on our website. We will let you know when this is posted.

Naps:  The Insta-Poll on Naps also generated a great deal of interest. If you go to http://mail.ccie.com/go/eed/0151 you will not only be able view all past Exchange Insta-Poll results, but you will also be able to read the comments readers offered on the topic of naps in preschool.

Fees:   The biggest one day response in the history of the Insta-Poll occurred after the posting of our poll on child care fees in North America.  Many of you suggested that it would be good to offer the option of "not sure" in case a voter did not know the fees for all age groups.  We have implemented this recommendation, so if you were unable to participate because of this, try again today at (http://mail.ccie.com/go/eed/0150).  We also noted that occasionally people were entering monthly, not weekly fees, so we have included a safeguard to prevent this from happening.  We still need more participation so that we can share the results for all states and provinces!
