LITERACY TRADITIONS IN THE SOUTH

Training & Technical Assistance Services at Western Kentucky University, well know for its creative and caring conferences, is sponsoring "SOUTHERN STORIES: Literacy Traditions for Young Children" on May 5 - 8, 2003 in Atlanta, Georgia. This premier early literacy event will showcase best practices by experts and practitioners across the eight southern states. Storytellers, authors, national experts, keynote speakers and teachers will share the latest practices in making literacy a natural process in the lives of infants, toddlers, and preschool children.
