Storage is More Important than You Think

A section on the importance of providing great storage is included in the newly revised book, Caring Spaces, Learning Places: Children’s Environments that Work! The book makes the case that "good storage allows children to:

• Feel a sense of control and competence...
• Learn about the relations between things. (Organizing objects based on similar properties or functions teaches children about the nature of things.)
