Observing Your Classroom

In Learning Together with Young Children, Deb Curtis and Margie Carter recommend that as a teacher you take a morning to keep track of what unfolds in your classroom:

"Notice the flow of the day, what children were involved with in general, and some specific times when you interacted with individuals or directed the group.  At the end of the morning, write down an account of what occurred in enough detail to jog your memory as you reflect on the following questions:
