Early Childhood Wages in North America

"If you can dream it, you can do it. Always remember, this whole thing was started by a mouse." - Walt Disney

EARLY CHILDHOOD WAGES IN NORTH AMERICA

Last week we launched our research on the economics of child care in North America with a very successful survey on child care fees.  To date nearly 1000 ExchangeEveryDay readers have participated in this survey on our home page (Exchange Insta-Poll).  Today we launch the second survey, this one focusing on the wages of directors, teachers and teacher aides in North America.  We hope you will help us make this an accurate survey by going to http://mail.ccie.com/go/eed/0153. After you have entered the average wages in your community, you can go to the home page and compare your community with those in other states and provinces.

We still need more participants in the child care fees survey, particularly from the provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Quebec; and the states of Alaska, Delaware, Idaho, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Nevada, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Utah, and Wyoming.  To participate in this survey, go to http://mail.ccie.com/go/eed/0154

If you are interested in the results of the Insta-Poll on fees, or any other past Insta-Poll, go to the Exchange Insta-Poll www.ChildCareExchange.com and click on "View Past Insta-Poll Results".
